its true what they say
you never know how much
something means to you
until its gone

i took a small vacation
away from everything
just for a queit yet fun week
4 hours away from my reality

not much, but just what i needed
water sports, late mornings, tree climbing, and hamic naps

busting out 360s on the Seadoo
tube rides as fast as can be
laughing at each other as we'd fall into the lake
relaxing on the dock with the sun at its set

each day if the week of my v.k
even after all the fun and sports
i'd crawl into the bed and think to myself
How much I miss everything

and how much it all really means to me
just how much i need it all in my Life
and so i realized, how empty i felt
even with a whole cottage full of great people

i need those things and special people
but im here taking a break from all that
when taking a break from it all
is the very Last thing i really want.

so now i'll say
i never really knew how much
i'd miss Basketball
the court, the practices, the gym, the Team!

i never truely felt so lonely
without my Sunshine
her smile, her laugh
our handshake, everything

so lonely
without my wifey
the talks, the laughs
her face, her craziness everything

so lonely
without Twitchy
the spacers, her lovely grunts
our highfives, everything

so lonely
without my Ateh
her Hope, her humor
her accents, everything

without my Bestie
his Smile, our texts
our hallway jokes, everything

without my Nerd/Fag/Love/Bestfriend
our walks home, the extra long hugs
her laugh, everything

without my Boo
our long midnight talks, the funny words
her face, everything

without my Twin
her laugh, her pool, her hugs
her vocabulary, everything

without my Grandma ;)
her giggle, her slaps to the arm

i miss you all, and i see now
Everything i have mentioned here

is most important to me
is what im missing the most this very moment
what im lost without
how will i survive
